About Comfort at Home Senior & Family Care
Our goal is to keep family members in their home as long as possible while enjoying the comforts of their surroundings and their personal belongings. It is proven that allowing seniors to stay in the comfort of their own home keeps them happier and healthy for a longer period of time. It is important to give our seniors and family members that feeling of being independent while their family has the comfort that they are safe and have an option.
We take pride in being a locally owned and operated business providing your loved ones with the quality of care they deserve!
Susie Oestringer – Owner & Manager
Susie has a very close relationship with her family and friends. Susie and her husband, Bob, have four children and five grandchildren (so far). Susie is also very involved in several community organizations which include serving as a Board Member of Chakota Therapeutic Riding Center in Germantown, Illinois and an active member of the New Baden Lions Club. Their children and grandchildren can often be found working along side them on volunteer projects and fundraisers. All of which makes them very proud parents/grandparents to see these these family and community values in the younger generations of their family.
Her passion for family values and helping others in the community has grown into Comfort At Home Senior & Family Care, an in-home care business for seniors and other loved ones needing a little help.
Susie worked for over 20 years as an Operations Manager for a nationwide financial institution, which was a great opportunity to learn all about the operations of a business. That experience along with her desire to work with members of the community on a more personal level brought Comfort At Home to life. Since starting Comfort At Home Senior & Family Care in 2015, Susie has found great joy in working with families in the community. If you ask her how she feels about running her own business, and helping so many other families in the community, you will hear her say “Doing this makes me smile everyday!”
